I have read 2 of the five, The world is Flat and The 86% Soltuion. I liked Tom's book but I must say that he could have easily eliminated a few dozen pages without loss of effectiveness. Mr. Mahajan was my B-school Dean (Indian Schoolof Business) and I have a great regard for him.

Recently, I have started a blog on how small businesses can benefit from globalization. I will look into what it takes for a foreign firm to succeed in India. I plan to share some real world stories in the coming weeks. Visit http://www.inventureglobal.com/e107_plugins/userjournals_menu/userjournals.php?blogger.2 to check it out.

Take care

Hi, Vishal,

Thanks for your post. Good luck with your new blog!

Another book that you might like is "Bottom of the Pyramid" by C.K. Prahalad. I have not read it yet but I am a big fan of CK's. I wonder if the authors of "The 86% Solution" merely expanded on CK's original premise ... something to think on.

Take care,
Laurel
