Global Medical Foam produces products that bring comfort to patients suffering from bedsores and pressure ulcers. Langer started her business for personal reasons: She made her first product for her late husband, whose thyroid cancer had metastasized to his spine. When she couldn't get him comfortable, she made a product.
Now, the question is whether Langer's products can go global.
