With All the Challenges and Barriers, Why Go Global?

With all its challenges and barriers, why go global?  Here's one reason:
The U.S. represents only about 3 percent of the consumers in the world, albeit the wealthiest. 
To tap into the other 97 percent of the consumers in the world, you must go global.  Before you start, do your homework and proceed with caution.
