You are right. The internet usage is staggering. Businesses that are making money, having influence on the web today couldn't have even been conceived a decade ago. It's exciting, yet scary, if we are not starting to understanding our place on the internet. How to get traffic, have two way conversations through our blogs and sites, persuade passerbys, etc. The pace of change will only heat up. Look around you... 14yrs olds who can access anything that comes to mind from their phones. That can carry on 5 different conversations in short form with one hand and a non-keyboard pda phone. What will they create in 5yrs without the dinosaur baggage of 'well..., that's how we always did it Wilbur'.
